I just want my content to be local where I can decide who sees what and when. The issue is that I can be a private person and not all content I want to share with the world like personal family moments. I read the content provided with the camera and it says I can share it directly to Facebook and even Youtube and I found other websites dedicated to VR movies that I can share my content. Only while the menu select screen is in the front does the picture comes out in perfect 3D 180 view. I came close to figuring it out when I viewed a 3D photo that worked perfected when I selected the 3D option at the bottom of the screen, but when I closed the menu the picture came out terrible and hurts my eyes when I tried to view it. I tried many methods to include the built in phone connection method, to transferring the items via usb and the content comes out in 2D and is no longer stiched, and 360 content (although you can look around) is no longer stiched like it was in the app. The issue is that I want to enjoy these movies and photos on my Oculus Go. The Qoocam even gifts you a mini vr glasses to clip on your phone that makes the images perfect like you see it with you own eyes. Both cameras the pictures comes out great, the way I want while using the camera's apps for each specific camera. I have a Samsung Gear 360 and recently purchased a Qoocam 360/3D camera.

GEAR 360 ACTIONDIRECTOR NOT STITCHING PROPERLY HOW TO
How to convert fisheye to equirectangular? You can also no longer distinguish two separate parts. The main difference is that the image covers the entire area and there are no black parts around the edges. The same image converted to equirectangular looks like on the illustration below. If this happens and you upload those images to Kuula, you'll see a wide, ugly stitching line and a shape reminding of an aircraft propeller when you look up or down:īefore you can use those images to create virtual tours and share them on the web, you'll need to covert them to the proper equirectangular panorama format. The problem is that fisheye images are often in JPG format and it's easy to confuse them for correct panoramas. It looks like the picture below, though sometimes the layout can be top/down instead of side by side: Problem with fisheye When these cameras take a shot, it is stored in the camera memory as a file with two fisheye images next to each other. This includes all Ricoh Theta models, Insta360 ONE X and R, GoPRO Max, Kandao Qoocam, Mi Sphere, Samsung Gear360 and many others. This means they have two lenses, one on the front and one on the back. Most of the 360 cameras on the market are "dual lens" devices. It is a common problem encountered by many 360 camera users. This is a quick guide explaining the difference between dual fisheye images and properly stitched equirectangular panoramas.
